As I’ve said before Qwest is helping Up tha Creek with social media in exchange for my honest views on Qwest services. So here they are!

I am a raft guide… it was easy for me to see that once I completed training. I felt more comfortable on the back of a raft than anywhere I’d ever been before. Like a trout feeling the current, I had finally found my place in this world. Since that day the flow has taken me to rivers all across the Americas, and to places I never imagined traveling to. Now in Glenwood Springs, CO and proud new owner of Up tha Creek, sharing my passion of rivers with others has become a lifestyle thats easy to love, and easy to do. But there is always the frustration of business, even if you’re in the business of fun! That’s where Qwest comes in. Qwest has hooked me up with small business IT resources, and lots of knowledge that I didn’t have about improving your business with technology. Without  the help I’ve received from Qwest Small Business, it wouldn’t be as easy to find the flow!

We set the dates for our 1st annual “Intro/Pro Combo” whitewater course. Our first class kicks off on May 16, 2011. Don’t worry there is room for you, and a few spots left for the drawing to win a free raft trip! If you haven’t heard… the first 10 people to register this year are entered in the drawing!! Let’s go RAFTING!!

So I was updating our website the other day, and with one click deleted all the blog files making the entire page vanish. Ahh!!! Well I’ll tell you one thing, its a good that I got the people at Qwest to back us up. It only took an email and the Qwest social media experts got the page back in no time, and I didn’t even lose any data. Simply Amazing! Glad I’m part of Qwest’s Social Media Launchpad program and that I have agreed to blog about my honest views of their services.

Our boats are unwrapped and full of air, and one of them hit the water on a private trip!

That’s right! It was so nice this weekend we decided to kick off our season early. All of our state of the art rafts are ready to go hit some waves!

What’s best way to start the season? By christening our maiden voyage with a colorado river rafting adventure.  The river is running at a good level now, and its only going up from here!
